Henkel Announces Changes in the Management Board in April 2008 as Planned

Ulrich Lehner (60), on reaching the Henkel-internal retirement age of 62, will resign from his office of Chairman of the Management Board in April 2008. Lehner, who - except for a short break - has been with Henkel since 1981 and held the position of Chairman of the Management Board since May 2000, will thus terminate his position in the Management Board at the 2008 Annual General Meeting as planned. The Shareholders 'Committee has appointed Kasper Rorsted (44), Executive Vice President Human Resources/ Purchasing/ Information Technologies/ Infrastructure Services since April 2005, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board effective January 1, 2007. He will be appointed Chairman following the 2008 Annual General Meeting.

The Dial Corporation Breaks Ground for New Headquarters Building in Scottsdale On Monday, December 11, 2006, The Dial Corporation and Henkel marked the official start of the largest construction project in their history with a groundbreaking ceremony for a new headquarters building located in Scottsdale. Henkel sponsors action-packed adventure off the Thai coast The countdown is almost complete: tomorrow - Saturday - the Rubson Raid Turquoise starts off the coast of Thailand. Twenty international teams will line up for this year's speedboat race, also referred to as the "Dakar Rally of the Sea." The four-man crews will compete against each other until December 16, covering a total of 500 nautical miles. They will also face some tough on-shore challenges. Henkel is co-sponsoring the event for the second year.  more...

Henkel Reports Strong Third Quarter In the third quarter of 2006, Henkel reported sales of 3,260 million euros, an increase above the prior-year quarter of 3.8 percent. Organic sales, i.e. growth adjusted for foreign exchange and acquisitions/divestments, grew 5.6 percent, once again clearly exceeding the target range of 3-4 percent for the full fiscal year.   more...

Organic growth, i.e. growth adjusted for foreign exchange and acquisitions/divestments, was a very encouraging 6.1 percent. Carl Edwards and Henkel Team Up for Busch Series Victory at Gateway - First Win for Missouri Native at His Hometown Track Missouri native Carl Edwards and Henkel celebrated Edwards' win Saturday night at the NASCAR Busch Series Silver Celebration 250 at Gateway International Speedway. Edwards, driving the No. 60 Henkel Ford Fusion, overtook Denny Hamlin with eight laps left to chalk up his first victory at his hometown track. Edwards is from Columbia, Mo., about a two-hour drive from Gateway. The win was Edwards' fourth Busch Series victory of the season.  more...

Dial Selects Location for Its New Facilities The Dial Corporation, a company of Henkel KGaA, headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, has signed an agreement with One Scottsdale Office LLC, to acquire land for its new Headquarters and Research and Development facilities. The building site is situated northeast of Scottsdale Road and the 101 Freeway and is part of the new One Scottsdale project being developed by DMB Associates. It is expected that the closing will occur in the next 60-75 days.  more...

Henkel completes acquisition of deodorant brands from P&G The transaction signed in February enabling The Dial Corporation, a Henkel company, Scottsdale, Ariz., to acquire several deodorant brands from The Gillette Company, a subsidiary of P&G, has now been completed. Henkel Acquires Consumer Adhesives Company in Brazil Henkel has acquired the adhesives company Alba Adesivos from Hexion Specialty Chemicals, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Alba Adesivos, based in Boituva/São Paulo, Brazil, is a leading Latin American producer of branded consumer and professional grade adhesives. Henkel delivers strong 2005 - Increase in dividends proposed The Henkel Group's results for fiscal 2005 substantially exceeded the previous year's, with sales up 13.0 percent and comparable operating profit (EBIT) increasing 16.7 percent.
